What is the Basin Makerspace?
The Basin Makerspace Ballard Campus is a dedicated space where students can explore engineering, design, and creative problem-solving through interactive projects.
Students gain hands-on experience with:
- Woodworking tools
- 3D printing
- Vinyl design and cutting
- Upcoming sewing & embroidery machines
This makerspace program helps students develop critical thinking, STEM skills, and creativity in a real-world setting.
How to Join the Basin Makerspace
To participate in the Basin Makerspace at Ballard Campus, students must:
- Have a parent or guardian complete a Release of Liability
- Successfully pass a Safety Quiz
Once these requirements are completed, students are eligible to attend weekly Makerspace sessions.
