I grew up in the small rural town of Eureka, Utah, which makes me very relatable with our AeA campuses. I have had many career paths in my life and feel fortunate to have landed at Athenian eAcademy.

My greatest passion is my family, I have two children and six grandchildren. I enjoy golfing with my husband and camping with all my family and friends.

I attended what is now Texas A&M in Commerce,Texas, where I received my undergraduate degree in Social Work. For my graduate degree, I attended the University of Nevada at Reno and received a Master’s Degree in Special Education. I had the honor to receive the Teacher of the Year award while working for Nye County School District in Nevada. I had the privilege to coach the High School Varsity Girls Soccer team where we won the State Championship title 2 times. I have worked as an Instructional Consultant for 12 years and an Instructional Coach and Site Administrator for AeA for the last two years.

I have lived in The Basin for most of my life. I have two boys and a wonderful husband. We love to go camping and on adventures together. I have always had a love of learning and I want to share that with everyone. I became a teacher to share in the education adventure. I believe every student can learn and should have a chance to be successful in their learning. I have been with Athenian eAcademy since the beginning and I love it!
